Values We value all families and consider them to have the critical ability to be front line advocates and supporters for their children and youth with the proper education and tools (Children grow better in families). We value all individuals, families, and groups being treated with respect, dignity, acceptance, and unconditional positive regard. We value total inclusion in a stigma-free society. We believe each individual has potential that can be developed with the right supports and services. We value partnerships with families, youth, and children to provide services and believe that their contributions and participation are our hope for the future. We value the strength-based approach that mental health is health and not an illness. We
believe that individuals with severe mental health problems
can get better with the We value service providers and believe they have competency and continuously strive for improvement. We value a collaborative system of care that includes a variety of alternative or nontraditional services. We value taxpayers and other funding sources and believe they have the right to a quality service product. We believe that, with their participation and political support, an equitable and fair system can be established where each individual and family has the opportunity and right to make the system work for them. |
